Trap for field mice and voles

Since a vole rarely comes alone and does not only dig in a corridor up to 1 km long, the use of several traps makes sense. On the one hand, you are guaranteed more success in catching and, on the other hand, you will soon have a well-tended lawn without scars. Gnawed vegetables and damaged roots, a favorite food of voles, will soon be a thing of the past.

Tip: voles have a very fine nose. Always wear gloves to protect against odors and your hand.

Manual:
Seal all holes and take a tour around 3 hours later. Those holes that are now open again are located in one of the main corridors, which can be up to a kilometer long. Loosen the upper sward while walking. Tighten the trap as shown in the illustrations and place it about 10 cm deep. Now cover the opening you just uncovered with upturned sod or a bucket. Mark the spot with a stick and check it in a few hours. With a little luck, a vole will have fallen into the trap.
