Bookbinding basic set

Make your own book - whether as a diary, for poetry or as a gift - if you want something special, you can also bind your own book.

Binding your own book lovingly and designing it is a wonderful creative idea. With our well thought-out, carefully designed set of works, you can get started with your new hobby straight away.

The creative set was put together in such a way that with the tools, book covers, papers and accessories (DIN A5 format) contained in it, several books can be produced using the tried and tested thread technique.

The pack contains all the basic materials needed for self-binding books:

• 4 pieces of book binding cardboard, 216 x 151 mm
• 2 book spines 100 mm wide
• 4 pieces of front and back paper (A4 format)
• 50 pieces of offset paper 80g / m² folded lengthways
• 1 piece of bone folder
• 2 pieces of silicone release paper 190 x 210 mm
• 2 pieces of bookbinding gauze 100 mm wide - 25 cm long
• 1 piece of bookbinding awl
• 1 set of bookbinding needles (3 different)
• 1 piece of bookbinding thread (waxed) - 30 m - roll
• 4 pieces of binding tape 10 mm wide - 8 cm long
• 4 pieces of headband 4 mm wide - 3 cm long
• 3 pieces of bookmark tape 4.5 mm wide - 25 cm long
• 1 piece of bookbinding glue - 100 ml bottle
• 1 piece of glue brush
• 1 piece of bookbinding press 260 mm x 145 mm with screws
• 1 piece of instructions for bookbinding

Ideally, you should also use scissors, a cutter knife and a cutting plate (not included in the scope of delivery)
