Durston DRM C130RE Combination Roller with 5:1 Gearbox and Side Extensions
The DRM C130RE from Durston Tools is a hand-operated combination roller from the proven DRM series for sheet metal, square wire, and half-round wire. The model designation describes the features: “C130” stands for combination rollers with a 130 mm roller width, “R” for the reduction gear, and “E” for the side roller extensions.
The precision-hardened main rollers, with a diameter of 60 mm, offer a flat rolling area of 75 mm for sheet metal and pattern rolling, as well as 11 square wire grooves ranging from 8 mm to 1 mm. Sheet metal can be rolled up to a thickness of 6 mm, and wire up to 8 mm.
The side roller extensions come standard with 4 half-round profiles and expand the range of applications, such as for the production of ring rails. Additional extension rollers with different profiles are available as options.
The self-lubricating 5:1 reduction gear significantly reduces the effort required for rolling. The roller gap is adjusted via a calibrated handwheel on the top. As with all rollers in the DRM series, the frame is made of solid cast iron, and the rollers are induction-hardened to 64 HRC. This ensures high stability and a long service life in professional workshop use.
For safe operation, the roller should be securely mounted on a suitable roller stand or a sturdy workbench. For larger cross-sectional reductions, it is recommended to anneal the material between individual rolling passes.

Durston Double D2 Combination Roller

Durston Combination Roller
Rolling mill without steel tube stand.Durston Double D2 Double Roll with 7:1 and 3.5:1 gear ratios
The Double D2 from Durston Tools is a hand-operated double roller with two separate pairs of rollers in a single unit. The upper pair of rollers is designed for flat rolling and offers the full roller width of 130 mm. The lower pair of rollers is equipped with 19 square wire grooves. This allows sheet metal and wire to be processed on a single machine without retooling, and the flat rollers remain free of edges and transitions due to the grooves.
Both sets of rolls are each equipped with their own gearbox: the flat rolls operate at a reduction ratio of 7:1, while the wire rolls operate at 3.5:1. This enables uniform rolling with minimal effort, even when working with harder materials and larger cross-sections.
The side roller extensions feature four semicircular grooves at 4 mm, 3 mm, 2 mm, and 1.5 mm, for example, for the production of ring rails. Additional extension rollers with other profiles are available as an option.
The Double D2 is the first Durston roller with roller bearings. All gears are enclosed in a plastic housing. Large, easy-to-read scale discs for adjusting the rolling gap and guide plates ensure safe and repeatable operation throughout the machine’s entire service life.
For safe operation, the roller should be securely mounted on a suitable roller stand or a heavy-duty workbench. For significant cross-sectional reductions, it is recommended to anneal the material between individual rolling passes.

Durston Oliva Rolling Mill F130
€2,511.99*
Durston Olivia F130 Flat Roller with 50:1 Gear Ratio and Front-Wheel Drive
The Olivia F130 from Durston Tools is a hand-operated flat roller featuring a specially developed gear system with a 50:1 reduction ratio (patent pending, UK 2010974.0, international PCT/EP2021/068551). Unlike conventional rollers with a side-mounted crank, the Olivia is driven by a handwheel on the front. This allows it to be operated either while standing or sitting.
The main rollers are designed as purely flat rollers and provide a continuous rolling surface across the entire width of 130 mm. This makes the F130 particularly suitable for rolling wider sheets as well as for pattern and embossing work. Sheet metal up to 6 mm thick can be rolled. The side roller extensions come standard with 4 semicircular grooves ranging from 4 mm to 1.5 mm, for example, for the production of ring rails. Additional extension rollers with different profiles are available as an option.
The rollers complete one revolution for every 50 turns of the handwheel. The gearbox and handwheel are designed to work in harmony so that the handwheel—thanks to its flywheel mass—can be turned significantly faster than the crank of a roller with a 4:1 gear ratio. The effort required is very low, allowing even people with limited strength or mobility to work with minimal fatigue. Thanks to its smooth operation and high rolling force, the Olivia is particularly well-suited for pattern rolling.
Since no crank extends to the side, the roller requires no additional space. It can be positioned anywhere along the workbench—not just at the end—and can be integrated directly into the workspace.
Like all Durston rollers, the Olivia features a one-piece cast frame, induction-hardened rollers, and a calibrated handwheel for adjusting the roll gap. It is manufactured entirely at the Durston plant in High Wycombe, United Kingdom.
For safe operation, the rolling mill should be securely mounted on a suitable rolling mill stand or a sturdy workbench. For significant reductions in cross-section, it is recommended to anneal the material between individual rolling passes.

Compact Entry-Level Roll Forming MachineDurston Agile C110 Combination Roll Forming Machine with 4:1 Gear RatioThe Agile C110 from Durston Tools is a compact, hand-operated combination roll forming machine for sheet metal, square wire, and half-round wire. It is technically based on the proven DRM series but features a slightly lighter frame and roller gap adjustment via a T-handle on the top. This makes it particularly suitable for workshops looking for a versatile roller that takes up minimal space.
The 110 mm-wide main rollers combine three areas: 4 half-round grooves at 2, 3, 4, and 5 mm; a 50 mm flat area for sheet metal and pattern rolling; and 9 square wire grooves up to 7 mm. Sheet metal up to 5.5 mm thick can be rolled. The rollers are induction-hardened to 64 HRC and precision-ground.
The 4:1 reduction gearbox with two specially designed gears ensures smooth operation with reduced effort. The fully supported bearing blocks contribute to a clean rolling result. The bearings are self-lubricating and maintenance-free. The upper gears are protected by a guard. The Agile C110 does not have side roller extensions, nor can they be retrofitted.
For safe operation, the roller should be securely mounted on a suitable roller stand or a sturdy workbench. For significant reductions in cross-sectional area, it is recommended to anneal the material between individual rolling passes.
