Product information "Pouring Medium, 250ml"
Pouring Medium - This flow medium optimizes the flow properties of colors for the pouring technique. Dry cracking is significantly reduced. Facilitates the stirring in of pigments! Curing time 2 to 4 hours.
Pouring technology - that's how easy it is:
1. Divide flow medium into several beakers
2. Dye with color as desired and mix
3. The resulting paint should flow well from the stirbar (e.g., P / N 341846), otherwise add water
4. Approx. Add 5 drops of silicone oil (P / N 345073 or 336259) to the paint and mix gently
5. Pour the colors into another beaker alternately, so pour paint in color
6. Place stretcher on the cup, hold tight to prevent leaking, and turn both over
7. Remove the cup and allow the paint to flow - swivel the frame slightly
8. Silicone oil is not soluble in color and segregates, thus often a cell structure is directly visible. Brief heating (e.g., hair drier) may additionally enhance the cell structure.
The pictures show examples that are possible with the use of SIlikonöl and Pouring Medium (P / N 345074) as well as steps of processing.
