Ballistol Universal Oil was developed as early as 1904 and has been manufactured in Germany ever since using the same formula. All active ingredients in Ballistol Universal Oil are exceptionally pure. The base oil for Ballistol Universal Oil is of medical grade purity, free of chlorinated hydrocarbons, and contains no substances of animal origin.
In addition, Ballistol Universal Oil is free of silicone, PTFE, acids, and resins, and is safe in accordance with Sections 30 and 31 of the German Food, Consumer Goods, and Feed Act (LFGB) as well as Regulation (EC) No. 1935/2004. Therefore, Ballistol Universal Oil is suitable for the care and maintenance of machines and equipment used in the food and beverage industry where contact with the product may occur.
Ballistol Universal Oil cleans, conditions, protects, preserves, and removes rust as well as residues such as resins from unsuitable oils, and can be used on wood, leather, stainless steel, iron, non-ferrous metals, and oil-resistant rubber.
